BYCAV Director of Education and Awarness
Name: Daniel Balay
I am a Second Year University of Toronto student studying political science. I owe much of my academic success to youth led and youth focused organizations like BYCAV. I have aspirations of continuing my education beyond the undergraduate level. I draw inspiration from contemporary black intellectuals, like Michael Eric Dyson, who rose from insignificance to become leaders in the black community. I began my career at BYCAV as a workstudy, but am honoured to now serve as the Director of Education. My vision for the African Canadian community is one that is well integrated into society, and contributing to the Canadian identity as much as we benefit from it.
